In the first part of this message, which I shared last week, we started off by analyzing the Great Whore by her name. Then we discussed about the beast with seven heads and ten horns, on which the woman sits according to scriptures. In this second and concluding part of the message, we will discuss about the waters on which the whore sits and make a final conclusion about what the woman represents and her judgment.
The Waters On Which The Whore Sits
“And he saith unto me, the waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues”—Revelation 17:15
From the above scripture, the angel that was explaining things to John, says the waters on which the great whore sits, are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues (languages). So clearly, this shows that the influence of the great whore in all her evil maneuvers is of a global scale. Her influence over the leaders and the inhabitants of the earth, encompasses all nations of the entire world.
The Conclusive Identity of The Great Whore
“And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth”—Revelations 17: 18
From all the analyses of the great whore, beginning from the first part of this message, and from the above scriptural quotation, we can authoritatively conclude that the great whore does not represent a specific city or a geographical location on earth. But that the great whore, Babylon the great, is a conglomeration of all the false religions, including the occultic societies, in the entire world…
Just like the Lord Jesus calls the entire member of his Church on earth a city set on an hill (Matthew 5:14), this great whore, the entire false religious bodies in the world, is a city set on seven hills or mountains on this earth.
The Eternal Judgment of The Great Whore
“And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled”—Revelation 17:16-17
The above text tells us that the ten horns on the seven heads of the beast carrying the great whore, which represents ten political leaders that are yet to emerge, will help to destroy the great whore as God’s judgment on the whore.
The above scripture says these leaders shall hate the whore, make her desolate, eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. Which in plane language mean: these ten leaders will fight against the false religious organizations and completely destroy the system. And of course, they will be helped by the beast, the anti-christ. So that the anti-christ will be able to set up his one-world religion that worships only him and the devil and no other God. Which is the system referred to in scriptures as the abomination of desolation (see Matthew 24:15)
The fact that the destruction of Babylon will usher in the one-world religious system of the anti-christ, can be better understood by what the bible says in Revelation 18:2 “And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.”
So when the great whore, Babylon the Great, is utterly destroyed, it will be taken over by a physical demonic reign, with so many unclean spirits, filling the entire world; under the rulership of the beast, the anti-christ. Who will rule the entire world with his evil spirits, and political leaders, until God’s final judgment comes on them, in the wrath and the war of Armageddon.
In Conclusion
The major essence and conclusion of this very particular message, is the clarion call the Lord makes to us in Revelation 18:4, it says; “And I heard another voice from heaven saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues”
So the Lord will have us come out of every false religious organization or occultic system; and any of their practices we may be involved in, so we do not partake of her wrath, which will surely come.
